Radonlab presents a digital radondetector developed in Norway for the use over medium- and long timeperiods. Canary is very affordable instrument for continuous indoor radonmonitoring over the medium and long term. Measured radonlevels are shown on the display and is updated every hour. The instrument displays the average radonconcentration in the room where it is placed. Powered by 3 LR03/AAA standard batteries that last for up to 3 years.
Features: Canary radonmonitor is designed to measure the average radonlevel over the medium or long term. The results of the measurements can easily be read off in the display. The display shows the average value of radonconcentration in Bq/m3 from the last 24 hours, last week and since the instrument was started.
Long-term Monitoring: The long-term measurement is particularly useful if you want the average radonlevel over several months. This is particularly useful to ensure that action against radon is effective over time. Canary save measurement results history up to 16 months, but these data are not possible to download the current issue.
Short-term Measurement: Canarys display shows 3 average radonkonsentrasjoner: over the last 24 hours, last 7 days, and since the start. Be careful with the use of canary for short time. Measure the value that shows average over 24 hours with great uncertainty. It is recommended to measure at least 3 days a week and at any time. Short-term measurement is particularly useful to determine changes in radonkonsentrasjonen that occur from day to day and week to week. This is useful to look at the season and weather variations and available locally to be able to measure whether measures to lower the radonnivået works.
